Deputy Colm Burke asked the Minister for Health if he will allocate funding for the investment in practical, social and emotional supports in the community for heart failure patients for the purposes of reducing readmissions and improve quality of life for same, given that such community supports currently do not receive any statutory funding and should be recognised as an integral part of heart failure services and included in the HSE'S Model of Care; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
