169. Deputy Jennifer Murnane O'Connor asked the Minister for Transport the number of buses in the Bus Eireann PSO fleet as of 31 December 2021, 31 December 2022 and 31 December 2023, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2358/24]
View answerAs the Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport; however, I am not involved in the day-to-day operations of public transport.
The issue raised by the Deputy regarding the number of busses in Bus Éireann's PSO fleet is an operational matter for Bus Éireann, and I have therefore forwarded the Deputy's question to the company for direct reply.
