Deputy Robert Troy asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Defence for an update on the transfer of Columb Barracks, Mullingar to the LDA; if he will consider withholding final transfer until such time as he is satisfied a masterplan is concluded with a timeframe for implementation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Tánaiste and Minister for Defence

As the Deputy is aware, the Government has decided that the site at Columb Barracks, Mullingar will transfer to the LDA. My Department has completed all the pre-contract paperwork to facilitate the transfer of the site as soon as the LDA is ready to accept the site.
