View answerMy Department provides financial support to local authority efforts to tackle litter through the Anti-Litter & Anti-Graffiti Awareness Grant Scheme. In 2022 and 2023 €750,000 was provided under this Scheme and a similar amount is expected to be made available in 2024. The amount of funding provided to each local authority is provided in the table below with the same amount provided in 2022 and 2023. The budget allocation for 2024 has yet to be confirmed.
