94. Deputy Mark Ward asked the Minister for Social Protection what options are open to a person who was previously in full-time employment and is now in full-time education in regard to availing of social welfare; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [4406/24]
View answerA person can qualify to receive a jobseeker's payment once they satisfy all the qualifying conditions for the payment, including being available for full-time work. A person who is attending a full-time course of education will not qualify for a Jobseeker's payment as they cannot satisfy the available for full-time work condition.
