218. Deputy Patrick Costello asked the Minister for Transport further to Parliamentary Question Nos. 68 and 69 of 7 February 2024, in what quarter of 2024 there will be an agreement on the sharing of collision data; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6584/24]
View answerAs I explained in my responses to the Questions to which the Deputy refers, the work in this area is ongoing with extensive engagement and I expect the issues to be resolved later this year. However, this is a complex area, requiring careful consideration of legal, data management and data protection matters and all parties are working to progress this matter as an utmost priority.
