Deputy Louise O'Reilly asked the Minister for Health if his Department is involved in JA PreventNCD, an EU initiative bringing together 25 participating nations to tackle non-communicable diseases; if so, which unit is responsible for this; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerMy Department has nominated the National Cancer Control Programme within the HSE to participate as the Irish lead on the JAPreventNCD given its focus on Cancer and other NCD prevention.
