View answerAs Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding for public transport, whereas it is the National Transport Authority (NTA) has responsibility for the planning and development of public transport infrastructure, including the provision of bus stops/shelters nationally. Further the NTA additionally has statutory responsibility for promoting the development of an integrated, accessible public transport network.
