Deputy Matt Carthy asked the Minister for Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform the ground rents payable by his Department, or agencies under its remit, by named property, by name of landlord and by amount payable, in the years 2016 to date; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I wish to advise the Deputy that there were no ground rents payable by my Department in the period specified.  This is also the position with regard to all but one of the bodies under the aegis of my Department.  The position with regard to the Office of Public Works will be conveyed directly to the Deputy by that Office shortly.
