72. Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs the number of times in 2023 and to-date in 2024 where the Irish consulate general or deputy consulate general based in Los Angeles has met with the governor of the state of Nevada, in tabular form. [12787/24]
View answerIreland's Consulate General in Los Angeles covers the region of Southern California, as well as the U.S. states of Arizona, Hawaii, New Mexico, Utah and Nevada. The Consul General and Vice Consul in the Consulate General in Los Angeles have not yet had the opportunity to meet with the Governor of Nevada. The Consulate General in Los Angeles continues to engage with key stakeholders in Nevada, including the local Irish community and state political representatives, and maintains contact with local authorities in order to provide consular assistance to Irish citizens in Nevada as required.
