730. Deputy David Stanton asked the Minister for Social Protection her plans, if any, to update the Code of Practice on Determining Employment Status which was published in July 2021; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [11990/24]
View answerThe Code of Practice on Determining Employment Status was updated in 2021 by an interdepartmental working group comprising the Department of Social Protection, Revenue and the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC). Following the Supreme Court judgement in the Karshan (Midlands) Ltd t/a Domino’s Pizza case my Department is working with Revenue and the Workplace Relations Commission to update the content in the Code as appropriate.
