The schools to which the Deputy refers were approved projects under my Department’s Additional School Accommodation (ASA) scheme (19478L) to provide a Mainstream classroom in one school and two special education needs classes. These projects have been devolved to the school authority for delivery.
The schools have made a subsequent submission to the Department to amalgamate these two projects and this matter is currently under review. Once the review is complete, the outcome will be communicated directly to the school authority.
