Deputy Róisín Shortall asked the Minister for Health to respond to matters raised in correspondence (details supplied); if he plans to provide patients with financial support to cover the cost of the strips required to measure warfarin levels; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As the Health Service Executive (HSE) has statutory responsibility for decisions on pricing and reimbursement, in accordance with the Health (Pricing and Supply of Medical Goods) Act 2013, I have asked the HSE to respond to the deputy directly, as soon as possible.
