191. Deputy Robert Troy asked the Minister for Transport if he will engage with Irish Rail/Bus Éireann to see how additional car spaces could be provided at Athlone bus and train station to incentivise people to use public transport; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18798/24]
View answerAs Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport. The National Transport Authority (NTA) has responsibility for the planning and development of public transport infrastructure, including the provision of park & ride facilities.
