The school referred by the Deputy has been approved to be included in the Department's school building pipeline for a project that involves providing 2 mainstream classrooms, 4 special education tuition rooms, and converting 2 special education classrooms under the Additional School Accommodation (ASA) Scheme.

I can confirm that documentation submitted for the project in the fourth quarter of 2020 did not adhere to the approved plans. Consequently, my department has requested revised plans consistent with the approved plans. We have received a revised submission, which will undergo review by my department officials.

Upon completion of this review process my Department officials will communicate with the school authority regarding the next steps to advance this significant project.
