109. Deputy Darren O'Rourke asked the Minister for Transport if Iarnród Éireann will introduce new rapid security response hubs throughout 2024; and if so, the locations in which these new hubs will be operational, in tabular form. [20165/24]
View answerAs Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport; however, I am not involved in the day-to-day operations of public transport. The issue raised by the Deputy in relation to the introduction of new rapid response security hubs is an operational matter for Irish Rail. Therefore, I have referred the Deputy's question to Irish Rail for direct response to the Deputy.
