I acknowledge that waiting lists for scoliosis and spina bifida services are unacceptably long. I am acutely aware of the burden that this places on patients and their families.

Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) has advised my Department that they are in direct contact with the family. As the Deputy’s query relates to a service matter I have referred the question to the HSE for their attention.
