653. Deputy Aodhán Ó Ríordáin asked the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science the number of new apprenticeship registrations in 2023 and to date in 2024, by type and by year in tabular form. [22422/24]
View answerThe total apprenticeship registration for 2023 was 8,712. A total of 2,599 apprentices have registered up to end April 2024.
The table at the link sets out a breakdown of new apprenticeship registrations by programme as at end-year for 2023 and up to 30th April for 2024. The programmes are further segregated into Craft and Consortia-led.
