Questions (114)

Richard Bruton

Question:

114. Deputy Richard Bruton asked the Minister for Social Protection if he plans changes to the pension provision for people who because of the nature of their work have earlier retirement dates, in order that they do not have large fall in living standards when they step down from those roles. I understand the Deputy is asking about pension provision for public servants, including members of an Garda Síochána, the fire service and the prison service, who may retire from their work after 30 years of service.

Matters relating to pension provision for public servants are for my colleague the Minister for Public Expenditure, NDP Delivery and Reform.
