Jobs Committee to discuss work creation policies with representatives from Fastrack to IT

The Committee on Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation will meet with representatives from Fastrack to IT tomorrow, Tuesday 28th May 2013 to review the Committee’s report Creating Policies that Work.

Fastrack to IT or FIT is an industry-led initiative that develops and promotes technology-based programmes and career development opportunities for job seekers. It works with government departments and national education and training agencies, local development organisations and a host of community based organisations to promote an inclusive Smart Economy by creating a fast track to marketable technical skills for those at risk of unemployment long term.

This meeting starts in Committee Room 2, Leinster House at 1.30pm on Tuesday 28th May 2013.
