Committee of Public Accounts to discuss ‘Bogus Self-Employment’

The Committee of Public Accounts (PAC) will meet tomorrow, Tuesday, 30 March, to discuss the topic of ‘Bogus Self-Employment’.

The meeting at 12.30pm with campaigner Martin McMahon will be broadcast from Committee Room 2 of Leinster House.

PAC Chairman Deputy Brian Stanley said: “The potential loss to the State’s finances due to ‘bogus self-employment’ is a matter of concern to the Committee. We have raised this matter with the Department of Social Protection and the Revenue Commissioners and will examine it further with Mr McMahon.”

The meeting in Committee Room 2 can be viewed live on Oireachtas TV.
