The Joint Committee on Public Petitions and the Ombudsmen chaired by Deputy Martin Browne will meet tomorrow, Thursday, 26 September, at 1.30pm in Committee Room 4 of Leinster House to consider the following petitions:
- · Public Petition Number P00001/24 ‘To give practical application to the right not to attend religious instruction in school’;
- · Public Petition Number P00008/24 ‘Employment Equality’ (resumed);
- · Public Petition Number P00034/24 ‘Future of the Dean Maxwell Community Nursing Unit, Roscrea’ (resumed);
- · Public Petition Number P00035/24 ‘Mogeely Interim Flood Relief’ (resumed);
- · Public Petition Number P00040/24 ‘Request for Mental Health Facilities’ (resumed).
The Joint Committee on Public Petitions and the Ombudsmen is a standing Committee of the Houses of the Oireachtas and has 11 Members, seven from the Dáil and four from the Seanad.
