Before you pass down to Number Four on the Clár I want some information. I sent in notice of motion for a Bill of great importance and I do not see it on to-day's agenda. When may I expect to see it?
MOTION RE FRANCHISE BILL.
MR. COSGRAVE:
This telegram came before the Cabinet. It was handed to my Department.
I sent it to the Secretary of the Dáil.
MR. COSGRAVE:
The Dáil had nothing to do with the franchise. It had no machinery for dealing with it. It accepted the other machinery and as the pre-Truce arrangements are still in operation the Dáil has got nothing whatever to do with the franchise.
