CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. [ WRITTEN ANSWERS. ] - A MOYCULLEN PRISONER.

To ask the Minister for Defence if he is aware that Mortimer Reddy, of Moycullen, Co. Galway, is detained at Hare Park Camp, that Mr. Reddy has signed the usual undertaking, that he has written to his Parish Priest signifying his anxiety to be released in order to work on his father's farm, his father being close on 80 years of age, and will the Minister say why Mr. Reddy is still detained.

The prisoner, whose name is Martin Keady, was arrested and is detained in Hare Park Camp for having engaged in road cutting and having carried despatches for Irregulars. He has signed the usual form of undertaking, but it is not intended to release him.
