Would it be possible to ascertain when the Dáil will be furnished with copies of the amended Standing Orders?
AMENDED STANDING ORDERS.
Subsequent to the adoption of amendments and additions to the Standing Orders, a message was received from the Seanad asking for a conference with regard to Standing Orders bearing on communications between the Dáil and Seanad. That was referred to the Committee on Procedure. That Committee met the Standing Orders Committee of the Seanad. Until the Committee on Procedure has decided its own attitude in the matter, and has made a report to the Dáil, the printing of the amended Standing Orders has been delayed. That is the reason. The Committee will meet to-morrow, and the work will be expedited as much as possible.
