CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - CONTROL OF LOCAL ADMINISTRATION.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether in view of the further postponement of the Local Government elections, steps will be taken to ensure that local boards will be controlled in such a manner that they will not have power to carry out any business involving unnecessary or wasteful expenditure, pending the holding of the next Local Government elections.

Pending the holding of the Local Government elections the Deputy may be assured that all possible steps will be taken to secure efficient and economical administration.
