Vol. 5 No. 21

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - REMUNERATION FOR VOLUNTEER POLICEMAN.

asked the Minister for Defence whether he is aware that John Travers, Richardstown, Clane, served in the Volunteer Police from May to October, 1922, when he was discharged, and that this officer has received no pay, although promised £16 per month?

I am aware that John Travers served as a Volunteer Police Officer. His claim for arrears of pay is now under investigation, and will be dealt with as expeditiously as possible.
