Vol. 6 No. 3

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - CASTLEREA (ROSCOMMON) ARMY ACCOUNT.

asked the Minister for Defence if he can state the reason for the delay in paying the amount due to Martin Winston, draper, Castlerea, approximately £100; whether he is aware that this account has been fully vouched by the local Military Authorities, and payment requested on several occasions, and whether he will see that the matter is immediately dealt with?

Mr. Winston's account has been received, and is being dealt with. The claim being for civilian clothes supplied to troops, required a closer investigation than is given to normal claims, and delay was occasioned. It is hoped that a decision will be reached very quickly.
