Vol. 6 No. 4

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFIT FOR DEMOBILISED SOLDIERS.

asked the Minister for Defence whether he is aware that in some cases men demobilised from the National Army have been unable to draw Unemployment benefit owing to the non-receipt of their Army Certificates at the Labour Exchange, and whether he will expedite the procedure in dealing with these certificates.

I am not aware of any delay in the matter, except such as may be due to the failure of some demobilised men to complete and return certain Army Forms. If the Deputy has particulars of what appear to be cases of delay, I should be glad to have them.

I will send them to the Minister.
