Vol. 6 No. 5

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - MOYARTA (CLARE) OLD AGE PENSION CLAIM.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state why an old age pension in respect of Timothy O'Dwyer, Moyarta, Carrigaholt, Co. Clare, which was granted by the Pension Committee of Clare, was rejected by the Local Government Authorities?

The claim of a Mr. Timothy O'Dwyer, from near Carrigaholt, to the old age pension has been twice disallowed on appeal on the ground that his yearly means exceed £49 17s. 6d., which debars him from the receipt of a pension.

Mr. O'Dwyer's address was given on the pension form as "Kilcrona, Carrigaholt." There is no record of an appeal from a Mr. Timothy O'Dwyer, Moyarta, Carrigaholt.

Mr. HOGAN

His address in his letter to me is Moyarta, Carrigaholt.
