CEISTEANNA.—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - BALTINGLASS SHOOTING—QUESTION OF COMPENSATION.

asked the Minister for Defence if he is aware that Joseph Allison, Brannockstown, Harristown, Co. Kildare, has not yet received compensation in respect of the death of his son, Patrick Allison, shot dead at Graney Cross, Baltinglass, on the 24th October, 1922, and whether payment will be expedited, as previously promised.

The necessary formalities are not yet completed. They are being expedited as much as possible.
