WRITTEN ANSWERS. - COAL CARTAGE FOR MILITARY—MOUNTMELLICK CLAIM.

asked the Minister for Defence whether he has received several applications from James Doyle, carter, Mountmellick, for payment of an account of £9 8s 11d. representing charges for cartage of coal from Mountmellick Railway Station to Clonaslee and Mountmellick Military Barracks, and if he can state when he will be in a position to forward a remittance for the amount due.

Mr. Doyle's account is under consideration, and will be disposed of as quickly as possible.
