Vol. 6 No. 15

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. [ORAL ANSWERS.] - WATER SUPPLY FOR MILITARY, ATHLONE.

SEAN O LAIDHIN

asked the Minister for Defence whether he is aware that a sum of £334 3s. 3d., calculated on the basis of the prices paid by the British Military Authorities, is due to the Athlone District Council for water supplied to Custume Military Barracks, and whether he can state if an agreement has been submitted by the Clerk of the Council to cover future supplies, and, if so, when a reply may be expected?

A claim and a form of agreement have been received. The latter document is under consideration, and when a conclusion has been arrived at, which will be soon, the claim will be settled.
