Vol. 6 No. 18

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS ORAL ANSWERS. - KILDARE CLAIM FOR DEPENDENTS' ALLOWANCE.

asked the Minister for Defence if he is aware that the claim of Mrs. Keegan, Timahoe, Kilcock, Co. Kildare, for dependents allowance in respect of her son, Matthew Keegan, a soldier of the National Army, stationed at Westport Barracks, has been before the Quartermaster-General's Department for a considerable time, and if he will see that this woman, who is in poor circumstances and a widow, with four young children to maintain, is granted an allowance.

A cheque has now been sent to Mrs. Keegan, which brings her allowance up to date.
