CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - KILDARE PENSION CLAIM.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will have enquiries made with a view to granting a pension or gratuity to Mrs. A. Coleman, of Hospital Street, Kildare, in respect of her son, Vice-Commandant Seán Nolan, 1st Battalion 3rd Eastern Brigade, 1st Division, who was killed at Trim on the 1st July, 1922; further, whether as this woman has only received the sum of £2 15s. 0d. in respect of her son's service, and is in very poor circumstances, whether he will expedite payment.

A form of application for pension or gratuity has been sent to Mrs. Coleman. On its return, duly completed, the necessary enquiries will be made with the least possible delay.
