Vol. 7 No. 8

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - KILDARE COMMANDEERED BICYCLE.

asked the Minister for Defence if he is aware of the delay in issuing payment to Thomas Winder, of Dowdingstown, Ballymore-Eustace, Co. Kildare, for a bicycle commandeered by the National Army in July, 1922; further, whether the application has been made and acknowledged as far back as October, 1922, without result, and whether, as Winder has to travel nine or ten miles to and from his work, and is put to great inconvenience, he will expedite payment so that he can purchase another bicycle.

A cheque for £8 10s. 0d. was issued to Mr. Winder yesterday.
