Vol. 7 No. 9

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - DISCHARGED SOLDIER'S PAY.

SEAN O LAIDHIN

asked the Minister for Defence whether he is aware that Thomas Johnston, whose present address is c/o Flanagan, Harbour Street, Mullingar, and who attested in Athlone on July 8th, 1922, and was discharged from the National Army on March 9th, 1923, has made several applications for payment of arrears of pay, without result, and whether he will have payment expedited.

Applications for arrears of pay have been received from Mr. Johnston. His claim would not appear to be a good one, but it will shortly be considered.
