Dáil Éireann debate -
Wednesday, 21 May 1924

Vol. 7 No. 11

LATE SITTING.

I would like to ask the President if he would be agreeable to the Dáil sitting later than the ordinary hour in the event of my motion not being finished at 8.30. I would prefer to have the debate finished this evening.

Private business will be taken at 7 o'clock under the Standing Orders.

The question somewhat appals me. I am agreeable to give extra time, but I should say we ought to be able to dispose of the question in an hour and a half. I would move that we sit until 9.30 if necessary.

Agreed.
