asked the Minister for Education if he received last autumn a resolution passed unanimously by the Governing Body and Academic Council of University College, Cork, requesting the Government to establish a Commission immediately to investigate the status, functions, and inter-relations of the University Colleges and the College of Science; if, in the interim, the Government has evolved any policy on the subject; if he is aware that higher agricultural education and research are being seriously hindered by the continuance of the present anomalous position of the College of Science.
