Vol. 7 No. 17

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - A CLAREMORRIS ARMY ACCOUNT.

asked the Minister for Defence whether he is aware that the sum of £103, due to Miss Julia Begley, merchant, Claremorris, Co. Mayo, for goods sold and delivered to the military in 1922, is still unpaid, and if he will order payment of same.

On investigation it has been found that Miss Julia Begley's account was incurred irregularly by an officer of the Army since demobilised. Miss Begley has been informed that the matter is a personal one between her and the officer concerned, and that the charge cannot therefore be admitted against Army Funds.
