CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - WICKLOW CLAIM.

asked the Minister for Defence if he is now in a position to state whether a decision has been taken on the claim of Mrs. Elizabeth Snell, High Street, Wicklow, in respect of the death of her husband, William Snell, who was shot at Avoca on June 3rd, 1922, and whether he will expedite payment of this claim.

replying: The application referred to by the Deputy has been heard by the Compensation (Personal Injuries) Committee, who have recommended that an ex-gratia payment of £75 should be made to the applicant. A paying order for this amount will be issued in a few days.
