Vol. 8 No. 21

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. [ORAL ANSWERS.] - KILDARE MOTOR HIRAGE CLAIM.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he is aware that Michael Bagnall, of Woodlands, Rathangan, Co. Kildare, has not yet been paid motor car hire for the conveyance of ballot boxes from Raheen, via Ballybrittas, to Maryborough, on the 27th August, 1923, although three applications have been made for payment; whether the car was hired by Captain Dowling, of the National Army, Portarlington, with the approval of the Returning Officer, and, if so, whether he will expedite payment.

This matter has not come to my notice, but inquiries will be made from the Returning Officer and I will be pleased to let the Deputy know the result.
