Vol. 8 No. 21

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. [ORAL ANSWERS.] - COMPENSATION FOR COMMANDEERED MARE.

asked the Minister for Defence whether he will state the reason why Philip Purcell, The Hill, Kilcullen, Co. Kildare, has not been paid compensation for the loss of his mare commandeered by Captain Donohoe, National Army, in the first week of July, 1922, and returned to him after two months, and whether he will expedite payment.

I am communicating with Mr. Purcell regarding particulars of his claim, which will be disposed of as quickly as possible.
