Vol. 10 No. 22

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - BALLYHAUNIS LADY'S LOSSES.

asked the Minister for Finance whether an application has been received from Miss M.J. French, Clare Road, Ballyhaunis, for losses sustained during the enforcement of the British Military Order in 1921, prohibiting the holding of all fairs and markets in Ballyhaunis, and if he will state what action has been taken as a result of this application.

It has been ascertained from the Compensation (Ireland) Commission that the claim referred to by the Deputy is at present under investigation and that the decision of the Commission may be expected at an early date.
