Vol. 11 No. 3

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS ORAL ANSWERS. - DIVISION OF KILDARE ESTATE.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture if the Palmer estate at Carbury and Rahin Co. Kildare, was inspected a considerable time back and its acquisition decided on; and if he will explain the delay in having it divided amongst the uneconomic holders and landless men of the district.

The Land Commission are taking steps with a view to the acquisition of lands on the estate referred to, but it is not at present possible to say when they may be vested in the Land Commission. The lands are not yet vested. An offer is about to be made.
