CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - CLAIMS OF CONNAUGHT RANGERS.

asked the President if any decision has been arrived at with reference to the claims of the Connaught Rangers who were convicted in India for treatment equal to that accorded to the ex-R.I.C. and D.M.P.

The claims referred to in the question are being considered by the Committee of Inquiry mentioned in my reply to the Deputy's question of the 25th March. The Committee has not yet furnished its report.
