I beg to move:—

Go ndintar Tuarasgabháil an Ard-Scrúdóra i gcóir na bliana dar chríoch 31adh Márta, 1924, do chur chun An Choiste um Chuntaisí Puiblí chun i do scrúdú agus tuairisc do thabhairt uirthi.

That the Report of the Comptroller and Auditor-General for the year ended 31st March, 1924, be referred to The Committee of Public Accounts for examination and report.

I want to ask, in reference to the appointment of a Public Accounts Committee and the consideration of the report of it, whether the President will give us an early opportunity of discussing the report of that Committee for the last year. There are one or two matters of considerable importance raised in that report, and I think it would be desirable that we should have a brief discussion on the matter. I do not think it will take more than two hours.

The Minister for Finance is preparing a minute on the report of the Public Accounts Committee which he hopes to have ready next week, or in the early part of the week following. It will then be possible to have a discussion of the kind necessary.

Question put and agreed to.
