Vol. 12 No. 9

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS ORAL ANSWERS. - PAYMENT FOR FRANCHISE AND JURORS' LISTS (LISTOWEL).

SEAMUS O CRUADHLAOICH

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state why £10, balance of a sum due to Mr. T.F. Cotter, Listowel, for the preparation of franchise and jurors' lists in the year 1922-1923 in the Listowel district, has not been paid, and if he will state the reason payment has been withheld.

I have been unable, from the particulars furnished, to identify a sum of £10, balance of a sum due to Mr. T. F. Cotter, Listowel, for the preparation of franchise and jurors' lists in the year 1922-1923 as being unpaid. The only accounts that come before my Department are in relation to the register of electors, and the records show that the total amount was passed and notified to the Council in March, 1924. If the Deputy can furnish me with more detailed information I will make further inquiries as to any outstanding payments for the period in question.
