COMMITTEE ON FINANCE. - OIREACHTAS (PAYMENT OF MEMBERS) (AMENDMENT) BILL, 1925—MONEY RESOLUTION.

I move:—

Go bhfuil sé oiriúnach a údarú go n-íocfar, fé aon Acht a rithfar sa tsiosón se, agus amach as an bPrímhChiste no as airgead a sholáthróidh an tOireachtas, pe'ca aca é, le baill den Oireachtas a gheibheann pinsin is iníoctha amach as airgead puiblí, pinsin do réir an lánráta gan cur-arfionnraí ná luídú—

That it is expedient to authorise the payment, under any Act of the present Session, out of the Central Fund or out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas as the case may be, to members of the Oireachtas in receipt of pensions payable out of public moneys, of pensions at the full rate without suspension or abatement—

(a) maidir le liúntaisí is iníoctha le baill den Oireachtas fé Alt 2 (1) d'Acht an Oireachtas (Baill d'Ioc) 1923, no

(a) in respect of allowances payable to members of the Oireachtas under Section 2 (1) of the Oireachtas (Payment of Members) Act, 1923, or

(b) i gcás baill den Oireachtas atá i seilbh aon oifige dá luaidhtear in Alt 2 (2) den Acht san, maidir le pé méid dá thuarastal is ionann agus an liúntas a bheadh iníoctha leis fé fho-alt (1) den Alt san dá mba ná beadh sé i seilbh na hoifige sin.

(b) in the case of a member of the Oireachtas holding any of the offices mentioned in Section 2 (2) of the said Act, in respect of so much of his salary as is equal to the allowance which would be payable to him under sub-section (1) of the said section if he did not hold such office.

It refers to the provision in the second section of the Bill. The provisions of the first section do not require a Money Resolution.
