CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. [ORAL ANSWERS.] - NAAS UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE CLAIM.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he can state whether James Carroll, Rathasker Road, Naas, Book No. 4118, Droichead Nua Branch Office, is entitled to unemployment insurance benefit in respect of payment of contributions for his period of military service during the Insurance Year 1923/1924.

Mr. Carroll's account with the Unemployment Insurance Fund has now been credited with 24 contributions in respect of his period of military service during the Insurance Year 1923/24. His claim of the 26th March last has been authorised for 90 days' Unemployment Insurance Benefit, which is the maximum period of benefit allowable during the fifth benefit year at present in operation. Payment of all benefit due to Mr. Carroll will be made on Friday next.
